Is your insurance is not on the list? Get started with self-pay and explore out-of-network reimbursement options. Self-pay rates are between $85 - $150 per session. For out-of-network reimbursement: request a super bill for submission to your insurance provider. If you've met your deductible, many plans reimburse for up to 70% of the cost of sessions. Please note, this does not apply to Medicaid/Medicare Our Customer Care Team is here to help with this.

What are the rates for self-pay?
Self-pay sessions range in cost from $85-$150 depending on the length and type of session.
If you would like to submit for out-of-network reimbursment, we will provide you with the documentation (i.e - superbill) that you can submit to your insurance provider. Once you've met your deductible, many plans reimburse for up to 70% of the cost of sessions.
What if my insurance is not accepted?
There are many reasons why an insurance plan is not initially verified. To get an estimate of insurance coverage for a visit with a Hopscotch therapist, we’ll need to confirm with the insurance provider your coverage amounts as well as whether there is a deductible that you have to meet. Please send our support team the front and back of your insurance card to confirm the insurance coverage amount for our therapy services. Also, please include the date of birth of the patient who needs services. Send photos of your card to our support team.
What can I do if my plan is not accepted?
At the moment, we only have contracts with commercial insurance companies. You can still proceed with appointments with a Hopscotch therapist and pay our self-pay rates. These range in cost from $85 - $150. If we are out-of-network with your plan, we will provide you with the documentation (i.e - superbill) that you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Our Customer Care Team is ready to help you with this.
What is my deductible and coinsurance?
According to some plan benefits, you are responsible for 100% of the cost of mental health appointments until the deductible is met. Once the deductible is met, you will have a certain coinsurance. The cost of appointments varies by appointment type and length. We recommend you call your insurance plan directly for a current quote.
When will I get charged for sessions?
When requesting an appointment from a clinician, we will collect your credit card information. You will be only be charged after the session is complete. The charge may occur a day after the session occurs or up to 2 weeks after the session has happened. You will receive an email notifying you that your card will be charged 24h beforehand.
